Like wheels, there are many options for tyres as well. It’s important to know what kind of terrain you will be traversing through when it comes to choosing the right tyres for your off-road setup.
Generally speaking, there are three types of off-road available:

Starting with All-terrain, these tyres are designed for everyday use. They feature smaller tread blocks and gaps to keep them quiet on the road while still being able to eject water.

It is important to note that a body lift won’t lift any other vehicle components. While your truck or 4WD will sit higher with a body lift, it won’t gain any ground clearance.

Suspension lift kits lift all of the components of the vehicle allowing for more ground clearance and a more aggressive stance.
Suspension lifts can be as simple as putting a block in the factory struts, or as advanced as replacing the factory struts with upgraded coilovers.
If you want more ground clearance for your off-roading adventures, you can save yourself some money by going with a standard suspension lift.
However, if you want your truck or 4WD to be extremely competitive off-road while maintaining a decent ride, coilovers are by far the best option.
