What is wheel load rating?

This is the maximum load that the wheel is designed to carry.  The wheel load is determined by taking 50% of the heaviest axle rating of the vehicle (GAWR – gross axle weight rating).  For example; if your heaviest axle weight rating is 3000 lbs then your wheel load requirement would be 1500 lbs.

What is a wheel offset?

Wheel offset refers to how the wheels mount in your wheel wells, and as a result, how much space you have on either side of the wheel. It’s very important to get this right because a wheel with the wrong offset can rub and cause problems with your suspension, brakes, and even body parts, like fenders. Please contact our official distributors for professional advice.

What is a bolt pattern or PCD?

A bolt pattern refers to the number of wheel lugs and a bolt circle is the arrangement of those lugs.  A bolt pattern is often referred to as a “PCD” on Pitch Circle Diameter.  Typically, most 4WD will have a 5, 6 or 8 lug pattern.

What are hub centric rings?

Most aftermarket wheels are manufactured with a larger centre bore that will fit a wide range of vehicles. A hub-centric ring is an installation tool used to help hold the wheel perfectly centred on your vehicles. The use of a hub-centric ring can help in reducing minor vibrations.
